New deck at night!

Almost have a new deck! I really like how the BBQ “cubby” has turned out. Considered putting a small fridge where the cabinet is, but once we rent this place out, felt like a potential maintenance hassle. Can always put beers and meat in an ice tub!

I’m baaaaaaaaaaaack…sort of.

Finally got enough of the deck done that we could set the grill back up. First firing up since early 2010. Worked like a charm (always worth it to pay extra for Weber).

Tonight’s meal: Turkey Burgers with Homemade Raspberry Chutney and Grilled Sweet Corn with Agave Sweetened Butter.

Today’s project: painting the baby’s room. Benjamin Moore Silver Dollar.

Today’s project: Dimmer switch switcheroo. Trying to upgrade each of my dimmer switches from these incredibly annoying narrow switches (which often move up and down each time one turns the light on/off) to “obvious” dimmers.
